About the role

As a Senior Designer, you’ll be at the heart of our creative process, managing 5-6 projects simultaneously. From the initial brief to pitching to clients and finalising the project, you’ll ensure our design solutions are nothing short of exceptional. Working closely with an Architectural Technician or Technical Designer on each project, you’ll oversee and approve their drawings. After the project handover, you'll take charge of the next steps, enabling our Senior Pitch Designer to focus on the exciting front-end work.

Key responsibilities & skills

  • Take client briefs and produce compelling pitches.
  • Strategise with the team to approach and win projects.
  • Collaborate with Architectural Technicians, 3D Team, and Graphics Team.
  • Approve and oversee technical drawings.
  • Manage projects from handover to completion, ensuring design meets client expectations.
  • Maintain high design standards and stay updated with trends.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
  • Mentor and guide junior designers.
  • Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Professional Skills & Experience:

  • Proven Design & Build (D&B) or consultancy experience.
  • Essential experience in commercial office interiors and projects over 20,000 sq ft and £1m+.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, InDesign, Photoshop, and SketchUp.
  • Effective pitching and competitive environment experience.

  • Ability to handle multiple projects and work both independently and as part of a team.
