Passing ‘GO’: A Luxurious Monopoly Reception

Upon entering the reception area, visitors are greeted by a blend of natural and luxurious design elements. A lush living wall, adorned with vibrant foliage, immediately connects to nature. This is complemented by the striking golden address “46 New Broad Street.” Adding to the opulence is a cascading golden curtain that draws the eye upwards. Its intricate chain-like structure creates a sense of movement and elegance as it drapes down from the ceiling, subtly dividing the space without obstructing light or views.

As soon as you walk in, the space is infused with gold accents and playful references to the game Monopoly. The iconic “GO” sign directs visitors deeper into the office, guiding them on a journey reminiscent of the board game.

The Vault-Inspired Boardroom

The first room visitors encounter on their journey is the boardroom, a statement design piece that embodies the essence of Monopoly in every detail. Rich, golden tones dominate the room, echoing the colours of wealth and prosperity. The vault-inspired backdrop, with its intricate metallic detailing, pays homage to Monopoly’s emphasis on financial achievement. At the heart of the room is a magnificent table, supported by a base shaped like the classic race car token from the game.

Luxurious leather chairs surround the table, offering both comfort and style, while crystal chandeliers cast a warm, elegant glow over the space. This refined setting is perfectly suited for high-level meetings and strategic discussions, blending professionalism with the iconic flair of the game.

A Playful Escape

In contrast to the boardroom's opulence, the breakout area offers a cheerful and relaxed environment. Bright orange walls and a playful ‘Free Parking’ sign - a direct reference to one of Monopoly’s most beloved spaces - create an atmosphere that encourages employees to take breaks, recharge, and socialise. Colourful chairs and casual seating arrangements further enhance the inviting ambiance, making this area perfect for informal meetings or relaxation.

Bringing Monopoly to Life

The Monopoly theme continues across the entire office space, brought to life in unexpected ways. The familiar figure of the Monopoly policeman directs visitors to the lift, which is framed by metallic bars and the iconic "Go to Jail" imagery, transforming a simple lift ride into an immersive, thematic experience.

The journey continues as visitors are led downstairs to two distinct, themed meeting rooms, each with its own unique charm. The "Liverpool Street" room, a nods to the office’s location and Monopoly’s roots, features a mural resembling the station platform, complete with silhouettes of commuters. In contrast, the “Dice” room immediately draws attention with its creative ceiling design: wooden panels perforated to resemble the dice faces hang overhead, adding a playful touch while enhancing acoustics and creating a warm, inviting atmosphere perfect for both casual discussions and formal meetings.

Each space is thoughtfully designed to reflect the game's playful, competitive spirit while enhancing the workplace’s functionality and aesthetic. Monopoly elements are seamlessly integrated into every room, from the iconic Monopoly houses repurposed as light fixtures to subtle game references that create a cohesive, engaging environment.

Unlocking a Hidden Oasis: The Secret Bar

Behind a wall that tells the story of the iconic Mr. Monopoly, a secret bar awaits, providing an unexpected retreat from the typical office setting - a hidden oasis for relaxation and informal gatherings.

The entrance, cleverly integrated into the wall, adds to the allure, making the bar’s discovery feel like unlocking a well-kept secret. Inside, the space reveals an intimate, vintage-inspired design, with deep blue tones and warm copper accents creating a moody yet inviting atmosphere. Suspended lighting fixtures above the bar add an elegant touch, enhancing the speakeasy vibe.
