As leaders in flexible workspace solutions, Orega has built a reputation for delivering premium flexible workspace environments that cater to the needs of modern businesses. Partnering with Orega, we have played a key role in transforming and elevating their spaces, consistently creating sophisticated and highly functional workspaces that meet the highest standards.
Our partnership spans numerous projects, each meticulously designed to reflect Orega’s commitment to quality and the unique characteristics of its locations.Their new flagship flexible workspace space at the iconic Eighty Strand integrates the building’s rich heritage with contemporary design, blending historical charm with modern functionality. This space further reinforces Orega's leadership in the flexible workplace industry.
Located in one of London’s most prestigious areas, Eighty Strand is not just another office building; it’s a landmark rich in history and architectural significance.
Recently refurbished, the building seamlessly blends stunning Art Deco features with contemporary design elements, featuring elegant geometric patterns and luxurious materials. This project presented a unique and exciting opportunity to create a workspace that not only reflects the grandeur of its iconic surroundings but also embodies Orega’s commitment to excellence. The challenge lay in designing a space that honoured the rich historical context of Eighty Strand while meeting the demands of modern businesses, delivering a workspace that is both inspirational and highly functional.
While all Orega offices maintain a consistent standard of excellence, with certain unifying elements across all sites, each workspace is uniquely tailored to reflect its specific location. The design process for each site is meticulous, with careful consideration of the local environment, architectural features, and cultural influences. This ensures that every workspace not only meets the practical needs of its occupants but also resonates with the distinct character and demands of its surroundings.
Orega Mark Lane, known for its luxurious aesthetic, features opulent gold detailing that complements the existing elegance of the lift lobby. In contrast, the Eighty Strand project takes a different approach, embracing the building’s Art Deco heritage. Here, the design highlights marble finishes and green accents, drawing inspiration from the natural elements of the adjacent Glasshouse Garden. This thoughtful integration of historical charm with modern functionality is at the core of our approach, creating a workspace that is both timeless and perfectly suited to the needs of today’s businesses.
Upon entering the building through the inner courtyard and the glass Pavilion, visitors are welcomed by a spacious reception area that sets the tone for the entire workspace. Unlike Orega’s other sites, we designed this reception area to be notably larger, with wider corridors that enhance the sense of space and ease of movement.
The colour palette was carefully chosen to reflect the building’s heritage while embracing the natural elements of its environment. Green tones, inspired by the landscaped greenery of the Glasshouse Garden, are carefully integrated throughout the space, from the walkways to the tea points. Marble finishes, a recurring motif, appear in the reception, tea points, and meeting rooms, ensuring a cohesive and luxurious aesthetic throughout the site. Bronze details in the finishes add a layer of sophistication, subtly enhancing the overall design without overwhelming it.
