Senior Project Designer Jordy Dent has earned a spot in the esteemed Mix 30 Under 30 Class of 2024, showcasing his creativity, adaptability, and knack for infusing storytelling into every project.
Jordy’s journey to becoming a standout figure in commercial interior design began in the sporting world before he joined his family’s interior fitout business, gaining invaluable hands-on experience and a deep industry understanding from the ground up.
In 2022, Jordy joined Area, where he continued to push design boundaries and deliver exceptional results that blend aesthetics with practicality.
One of his standout projects is the Causeway Technologies project in Birkenhead, which was a finalist for the Mix North23 Awards. Here, Jordy transformed the workspace into a vibrant hub of creativity and collaboration, integrating modern technology with Liverpool's cultural heritage. The result: dynamic central hubs, versatile client meeting spaces, and captivating Liverpool-inspired artwork, all highlighted by his commitment to sustainable design practices.
Jordy's focus on client satisfaction and his ability to create exceptional experiences were key to the project's success. His influence extends beyond Birkenhead, as he continues to work on Causeway Technologies' Paris project, demonstrating his versatility and cultural sensitivity in designing employee-centric spaces worldwide.
