25 Moments That Matter
This year marks a special moment in our story – Area is celebrating 25 years in business. A milestone like this deserves more than a party. So we’re marking it in the best way we know how – by giving back!
To celebrate, we’ve launched 25 Moments That Matter – a year-long campaign of volunteering, fundraising, and community support. It’s a way for all of us across Fourfront Group to make a real difference, together.
A Year to Do More Good
As a certified B Corp, we’ve always believed in using business as a force for good. That commitment goes back to our early days, when we first began supporting charities and causes that aligned with our values. Since then, it’s become part of our culture. Over the years, this has taken many forms – but no relationship has meant more to us than our partnership with Shooting Star Children’s Hospices, a charity providing specialist care and support to families facing the challenges of life-limiting conditions in children and young people across Surrey and London.

This year, we’re taking things even further. We’ve set ourselves a goal: 25 meaningful initiatives that leave a positive, lasting impact – on people, places, and the planet. It’s our way of celebrating 25 years in a way that truly reflects who we are.
Our headline event of the year – the 25 Hour Challenge! We’re taking on a continuous static bike challenge at our Windsor office to raise funds for Shooting Star Children’s Hospices.
Every pound raised through the 25 Hour Challenge will go directly to the charity, helping to fund the essential services that make such a difference to children and their families.

This year, our team got involved in a wide range of activities – from charity runs and community clean-ups to volunteering and fundraising. Here’s a look at some of the events that brought us together and made a real difference:
- The London Marathon – Lucy Muir ran in support of Shooting Star
- The Distinguished Gentlemen’s Motorcycle Ride – Justin Lewis, Alan De Lacy and Rynier Van Der Merwe raising awareness for men’s health and prostate cancer
- Windsor Litter Pick – recognising Earth Day and our ongoing fight against plastic pollution
- Paddle & Pick at Kew Bridge – in support of #PlasticFreeJuly
- Shooting Star Corporate Cup – a six-a-side football tournament bringing together corporate supporters for friendly competition
- Gardening at Shooting Star House – volunteering to tidy and brighten up outdoor spaces
- Tamsin Trail Walk & Talk in Richmond Park
- Trussell Trust volunteering at London Bridge
- Shooting Star Distribution Centre support
Supporting Everyone to Give Back
At Area and across Fourfront Group, charity isn’t a one-off effort – it’s part of our culture. To help our team get involved in causes that matter to them personally, we offer up to three ‘Impact Days’ a year. These are paid volunteering days employees can use for any registered charity or community initiative.

Whatever the cause, we believe that when people take action together, it makes a real difference.
Our 25th year is a celebration – but not of us. It’s a celebration of the impact we can have when we come together.
Thank you to everyone who’s supported us on this journey. Here’s to the next 25 years – and to making every one of them count!
