Designing for Flexibility and Wellbeing

The primary goal was to create a workspace that reflects Work.Life’s brand values: community, wellbeing, and flexibility. The design needed to accommodate various working styles, from private offices to collaborative areas, while fostering a welcoming atmosphere.

Designed and delivered by Area, the workspace offers a variety of options to suit teams of all sizes, including private offices, hot desks and dedicated desks. Several meeting rooms are available, each designed to provide a comfortable setting for discussions, pitches and presentations.

Recognising how central wellbeing is to Work.Life’s culture, the space includes thoughtful extras like yoga sessions, weekly breakfasts and monthly massages. There are also breakout areas and open-plan lounges that encourage informal conversations and a genuine sense of belonging.

Delivering a Space That Works

The space sits firmly within the coworking and flex sector, built to meet the needs of modern businesses that demand agility, comfort and community.

Our design team focused on creating an environment that feels both professional and inviting. Natural light floods the space through large windows, and high ceilings contribute to an airy atmosphere. Materials and finishes were selected to evoke a sense of warmth and comfort, aligning with Work.Life’s commitment to member wellbeing.

The workspace successfully embodies Work.Life’s vision. It provides a versatile environment that supports various working styles while fostering a strong sense of community. The inclusion of wellness-focused amenities further enhances the member experience, making it more than just a place to work.

One of the main project objectives was to create a bright, fun and upbeat place for members to work. Acting as a shop front for Work.Life, the hot desking area and meeting spaces were carefully designed to show off the buzzy working environment within.
