The Turing Building Shortlisted for Two Mix Awards 2026

We’re pleased to share that The Turing Building, designed and delivered by Area in partnership with Lendlease, was shortlisted in two categories at the prestigious Mix Awards 2026:

• Project of the Year – Design & Build
• Project of the Year – Workplace Interiors (15–35k sq ft)

Located at Stratford Cross in East London, The Turing Building brings a fresh approach to the modern workplace, combining hospitality-led design with flexible spaces that support collaboration, connection and wellbeing.

Area was appointed to transform the building’s reception, including a café and library, alongside Lounge TwentyOne, a destination space on the top floor featuring meeting rooms, social spaces, wellness facilities and a rooftop terrace overlooking London.

The double shortlisting recognises the design, collaboration and attention to detail behind the project, reflecting our commitment to creating workplaces that deliver exceptional experiences.
